It's February, a new year in progress, and you have your mind set on going to Hawaii in December. There's just one problem with this plan: Your bank account may not necessarily agree with this goal. However, you are determined. So how does one get this accomplished?
Achieving goals starts with your mindset.
Your thoughts turn into words, words turn into actions, actions turn into achieving goals.
It's not enough to just want it. It's not enough to just think it, or talk about it.
You have to put effort and action behind those words.
Write your goals down, and read them daily.
Do something each day that gets one you step closer to your goal.
Maybe, it's get an additional source of income. Maybe, it's cutting back on wants, and only spending on necessities.
Whatever it takes to get it accomplished, do it and stick with it.
As long as the goal is SMART. And by smart I mean "S" for Specific, "M" for Measurable, "A" for Actionable, "R" for Risky and "T" for Time-sensitive; you WILL reach it!
Specific: Narrowed down to exactly what you want.
Measurable: It's realistic.
Actionable: There are things you can physically do to attain the goal.
Risky: Gets you outside of your comfort zone.
Time-Sensitive: Have a deadline of when it is to be accomplished.
If your goal doesn't include all of the above, you may want to reconsider it, or tweak it a bit.
Start with believing, then start doing...the rest should fall into place.
I'm not saying it will be easy. We all know things come up, but if you get off track, get right back on it.
Just make sure your thoughts, words, and actions all match up.
You'll see yourself on that Hawaiian beach in no time.
You can do it!
